Our Organization

How We’re Organized

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’re staffed by a part-time office manager and volunteers.

Our Governing Council meets monthly, and all meetings are open to all members. Council members lead our working teams and serve on liaison teams with Villages NW, the nonprofit “hub” that supports 11 Villages in the Portland metro area and Oregon Coast.

Village teams include:

• Rain or Shine Committee—Provides special support for members going through difficult times
• Editorial—Produces our monthly newsletter
• Membership—Recruits and supports new members
• Volunteers—Recruits and trains volunteer helpers
• Outreach & Marketing—Builds community awareness of Eastside Village
• Technology—Helps members use tech confidently, and supports new technologies
