We know aging can sometimes bring isolation. That’s why we create a warm and welcoming space for everyone—whether you’re outgoing or quiet, new to Portland or a longtime local. Our members often form lasting friendships.
Eastside Village is powered by our members. Our events and programs come from members’ ideas, interests, and energy. We provide the support to help them thrive.
Our members also ask for and receive support—and they’re eager to give back, to help others in our Village and our larger community. That’s the two-way street that makes Eastside Village so successful.

Derianna shares her experience in Eastside Village:
“I feel so good about being a part of this Village! Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would change my life so dramatically! It has been a safety net. For instance, I wrecked my car in December of 2021 and because of the services I could get from EV, felt I did not need to go out and buy another car. I am grateful for that because I did have PTSD after that accident and don't feel as comfortable driving now as I did.
